Chris welcomes you to his pre 1900 detached listed black and white timber framed home.  

Modifications:
Solar, heat pumps, some retrofitted wall insulation.
 
Motivation to retrofit:
Good for the climate, saves money and comfortable.
 
Approximate cost: 
£30,000

20%-40% savings on bills

Next steps and considerations:
  • Complete the retrofit and add more loft insulation.
Considered a ground source heat pump but it would have took too much land out.
Potential planning objections to a wind turbine.
